Working on the Alien: Earth marketing package has been a highlight of my time at FX. As a longtime Alien fan, I was thrilled when I was approached to contribute to various package elements and spots.
Gestation reformats
One of my key contributions to Alien: Earth was working on the “Gestation” countdown spots, a 5-day phased series leading up to the release of a new trailer and the launch of the broader global campaign.
I was responsible for editing and reformatting the original phased spot into multiple versions tailored for social media platforms. This included adapting the pacing, composition, and visual hierarchy to ensure the storytelling remained impactful across different aspect ratios and screen formats. The work required maintaining the tension and tone of the original piece while optimizing it for fast-moving, mobile-first viewing experiences during the campaign rollout.
Soho House
I refined the package graphics for integration into the Soho House promotional rotation, restructuring the layout and typography to ensure clarity and readability while adhering to Soho House’s distinct design specs.
Show Package
For the first season of Alien: Earth, I versioned the typography and type-driven animations across multiple graphic elements, including interstitials, ID countdowns, and end-sequence tune-ins, ensuring a cohesive visual language throughout.
